New & Improved 24-7 Online Utility Portal Ready for Use
Starting at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019, Town of Clayton customers are now able to create unique, easier-to-remember usernames and passwords for our 24-7 online utility system. Formerly, users were forced use their lengthy account number and name EXACTLY as listed on their utility bill, including any spaces, dashes or other characters. EVERYONE will be prompted to create a NEW personalized username and password. Just head to the online Utilities & Billing page and follow these four simple steps. First step: Click “Create User Profile”

Town Facilities Closed Monday
All Town of Clayton facilities will be closed Monday, Jan. 21 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Emergency police, fire and rescue services may be reached by calling 9-1-1. For utility outages, call 919-553-1530. Closures include Hocutt-Ellington Memorial Library, the Clayton Community Center, The Clayton Center and Town Hall — including our utilities and billing department. Garbage, recycling and yard waste collection will run as normal. Loose leaf collection will resume Tuesday. The holiday pushed the regular Town Council meeting to Tuesday, Jan. 22 at Town Hall/The Clayton Center.

Tuesday's Town Council Meeting
Tuesday's Town Council meeting features four new faces on the police force, the annual financial audit report and plans to expand parking in Downtown Clayton, NC! We hope you to see you at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22. Due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, Town facilities are CLOSED on Monday and that has pushed the Town Council meeting one day later to Tuesday. Click below for the full agenda and highlights of what's on Council's plate. And if you miss the meeting, there is always audio of the entire meeting available on the following day. Certified Lunatic & Master of the Impossible Comes to The Clayton Center
Tomáš Kubínek is a comic genius, virtuoso vaudevillian and an all-around charmer who provides an utterly joyous experience that audiences will remember for a lifetime. His latest creation, Miracle Man, is a rip-roaring revival of stunts and skits that leaves audiences dazed, beaming and in love with life once again. He performs this production at The Clayton Center on Thursday, January 31, at 7:30 PM. Tickets are just $5 and children ages 8-12 are free. Please note that due to the focused nature of the program, this performance is not suitable for children under 8 years old. Get Tickets!
Final Month of Loose Leaf Season!
January 31 is the last day of loose leaf season which opened Oct. 1st! You can always bag your leaves, but for the rest of the month, you can rake your leaves LOOSE and pile them just to the edge of your curb. Our Town vacuum truck will come once a week (on the next business day following your garbage day) and suck those leaves right up! PLEASE do NOT mix sticks, dirt or rocks in with the loose leaves - our truck can NOT pick them up!
