Main Street Back Open After Work on Exciting New Development
After spending some extra time to disconnet an extremely old water line along Main Street, contract crews have re-opened a small section of Main Street to traffic. Thanks for everyone's patience! This work was to connect utilities to a vacant lot at the corner of Main & Smith streets to allow for an exciting new addition to Downtown Clayton. The Stephenson building is a three-story building - a 7,700-square-foot red-brick structure, with the first floor being home to offices and business. The rest of the building would allow a few more residents to call Downtown Clayton home, with plans for three two-story apartments on the second and third floors.
