Clayton Town Facilities CLOSED Wednesday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Clayton Town Hall, The Clayton Center, the Public Works/Operations Center and the Clayton Library will be CLOSED Wednesday, May 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for an employee gathering. This includes our utilities and billing, permitting, engineering and planning departments. Parks and Recreation's clayton Community Center will remain open, although the gym and walking track will be closed to the public. We apologize for the inconvenience of this temporary closure. Section of Horne St. CLOSED for Traffic Study
TUESDAY, MAY 14th – SECTION OF HORNE STREET NEAR TOWN HALL BLOCKED! A small section of W. Horne Street right in front of the Town Hall parking lot will be blocked to thru-traffic beginning Tuesday, May 14th – staying closed 24 hours a day through Thursday, May 23rd. This closure is needed to allow for a traffic study that will help measure the impact of closing this small section of street permanently to accommodate an expanded public parking lot. During this temporary closures, traffic will still be able to flow through the Town Hall parking lot. Thank you for everyone’s caution and patience during this two-week study.

Council to Vote on 2020 Budget in June
The Clayton Town manager presented his recommended FY 2019-2020 balanced budget at Monday’s Town Council meeting/public hearing on May 20th. Two residents shared concerns about the state-mandated revalaution raising homeowners property taxes even though this budget keeps the Clayton tax rate unchanged. Our Annual Water Quality Reports for 2018 are now available! Click here for the most recent Town of Clayton Water Quality Report, which covers the majority of Town. There's a separate Town of Clayton NORTH Water Quality Report, which covers customers who live in Riverwood Athletic Club area. These reports cover all the testing that we have done from January 1 through December 31, 2018.
