Costumes and Candy Fill Downtown Clayton

Home Posted on November 01, 2024

Halloween was a blast in Downtown Clayton where little ghouls and goblins came out to celebrate!

On October 31, families joined the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department for the annual Trick-or-Treat Main Street event. From 1 - 3 p.m., children in their spooktacular costumes strolled between Horne Square and Town Square, visiting local businesses for treats and making unforgettable memories.

The Clayton Fire Department, Clayton Police Department, and Hocutt-Ellington Memorial Library were on hand to pass out candy and make sure everyone crossed the streets carefully. After collecting goodies, families enjoyed games, music, and activities in Town Square.

Events like this are a fantastic way for the Town of Clayton to provide families with a safe and fun way to enjoy the holiday during daylight hours. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this fun-filled day! Check out these photos to relive some of the magical moments.
