The Town of Clayton is uniting two beloved occasions into one big holiday celebration. Join us for the Square-to-Square Street Festival and Independence Day Fireworks, starting at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, July 4 in Downtown Clayton. This event is free and open to the public. 

Enjoy family-friendly activities during the Square-to-Square Street Festival, which include a bike parade at 5:30 p.m. in front of Horne Square and a fire truck spray down at 7 p.m. near the intersection of Church and Main Streets. Interactive games, inflatables, and illusions are also on the docket. 

Town council members plan to serve free slices of watermelon, a Clayton tradition, in Horne Square. People can also partake in free snow cones or purchase items from a variety of food trucks.  

Once the Square-to-Square Festival wraps at 9 p.m., be sure to stick around for the Independence Day Fireworks. The show is scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m., weather permitting. Fireworks are launching from Clayton High School, and there are viewing locations throughout the Town, including Hocutt Baptist Church and Main Street.
