You may obtain a public copy of a Clayton Police incident report or a motor vehicle collision report, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. You may mail in a written request, or you may request a copy of a report on this website. There is a $3 fee for the initial copy of a report and a fee of $1 for each additional copy.
In-person and online requests must be paid only with a credit or debit card. Written requests made via US Mail must include a check or money order made payable to the Clayton Police Department.
Requests can also be made at the front desk of the Clayton Police Department. Our physical address is 315 East Second Street, Clayton, NC 27520. Written requests may be mailed to the same address.
