Welcome the Town of Clayton, North Carolina

Town of Clayton Thanksgiving Facility Closures & Rescheduled Waste Collection

11/15/2018

All Town of Clayton facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 25, for Thanksgiving. Emergency police, fire and rescue services may be reached by calling 9-1-1.

That includes Hocutt-Ellington Memorial Library, Clayton Community Center, The Clayton Center and Town Hall — including our utilities and billing department.

All Star will NOT run garbage, recycling or yard waste routes on Thanksgiving Day, which will push back collection of Thursday's routes to Friday and Friday's routes to Saturday. Still put your waste out on your regularly-scheduled day – just know it might take an extra day for All Star to collect it. All Star aims to have all of the week's routes run by noon Saturday. When in doubt, leave it out!

Town of Clayton crews will not collect loose leafs on Thanksgiving, but they will work to ensure all routes are run during the holiday week.

Looking to work off some turkey? All of our Town parks will be open as usual for the entire holiday weekend.
