Town of Clayton New Year's Closures & Rescheduled Waste Collection

12/28/2017

All Town of Clayton facilities will be closed Jan. 1 for New Year's Day. The Clayton Community Center will also be closed Sunday.Emergency police, fire and rescue services may be reached by calling 9-1-1.

All Star will NOT run garbage, recycling or yard waste routes on New  Year's, which will push back collection of Monday's routes to Tuesday. If your route is usually on Tuesday or later, still put your waste out on your regularly-scheduled day – just know it might take an extra day for All Star to collect it. All Star may get collect on your usual day, or the day after. When in doubt, leave it out!

Ready to get rid of this year's Christmas tree? Simply leave it by the curb on your pickup day. Just be sure to remove all garland, ornaments and any other decorations. Put trees out by the end of January.

Town facility closures include Hocutt-Ellington Memorial Library, Clayton Community Center, The Clayton Center and Town Hall — including our utilities and billing department. The Library and Clayton Community Center will be open as usual Saturday.

All Town facilities will reopen as usual Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Looking to get cracking on those New Year's resolutions? All of our Town parks will be open as usual for the entire holiday weekend.
