Welcome the Town of Clayton, North Carolina

Free Movie Night This Friday!

07/08/2019

Join the Clayton Downtown Development Association THIS Friday in Town Square as we celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Wizard of Oz with a FREE showing of one of the best family movies ever made!

Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy a special sneak peek of the cast of Carolina Youth Theatre - they'll be performing a full-stage production of the Wizard of Oz at The Clayton Center later this month! Catch this classic musical July 26 & 27 and August 1, 2 & 3 at The Clayton Center!

Come to Town Square at 110 W. Main Street at 6 p.m. for face-painting, balloon animals, a bouncy house, and games for the whole family – ALL FREE! PLUS, due to the inclement weather on July 4th, we’ll be giving away all our Independence Day ice cream too – FREE!!

Poblanos Tacos and More Food Truck will be on site for tacos, Mexican and Latin fare – plus vegetarian and Gluten-free options.

We usually start our movie nights when the sun goes down...but because it gets dark around 9 p.m. this time of year (and that's kind of late to start a movie) we're going to start after the great LIVE performance from Carolina Youth Theatre at 8 p.m. and hope for the best!

Check out our August, September and October movie nights at ClaytonNC.org/movies
