Help Clayton Police provide needed school supplies directly to Clayton area schools!

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, we'll be in the Walmart parking lot accepting donations to pack a police car full of school supplies at 805 Town Centre Boulevard! Thank you to Walmart for donating $100 and letting us use the parking lot!

Donations will support Clayton High School, Clayton Middle School, Cooper Elementary, West Clayton Elementary, Riverwood Elementary, Riverwood Middle, East Clayton Elementary, Powhatan Elementary School and Johnston Charter Academy.

Can't make it Aug. 18? We'll be accepting donations 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Aug. 17 at the Clayton Law Enforcement Center, 315 East Second Street.

Here's what we're collecting: pens, glue, pencils, folders, dry erase markers, notebooks, crayons, binders, dividers, colored pencils, loose leaf paper, tissues, index cards, construction paper, erasers, highlighters, pencil cases, backpacks, sticky notes, disinfectant wipes and loose-leaf paper.
