Welcome the Town of Clayton, North Carolina

Town Facilities Closed, Garbage Routes Delayed for Memorial Day

05/22/2018

All Town of Clayton facilities will be closed Monday, May 28 for Memorial Day. Emergency police, fire and rescue services may be reached by calling 9-1-1.

All Star will NOT run garbage, recycling or yard waste routes on Memorial Day, which will push back collection of Monday's routes to Tuesday. If your route is usually on Tuesday or later, still put your waste out on your regularly-scheduled day – just know it might take an extra day for All Star to collect it. All Star may come by on your usual day, or the day after. When in doubt, leave it out!

Facility closures include Hocutt-Ellington Memorial Library, the Clayton Community Center, The Clayton Center and Town Hall — including our Utilities & Billing department. The Library and Clayton Community Center will be open as usual Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Looking to get outside over the holiday weekend? All of our Town parks will be open as usual.
