The Town of Clayton provides electric, water and sewer services to most residents and businesses within the Town limits. We also provide residential trash, recycling and yard waste services by contract with All Star Waste. 

If you are a Town of Clayton utility customer, we are here for you. Our Utilities and Billing Department is located within Town Hall at 111 E. Second Street.
When it comes to electric, water, garbage, and leaf collection, we do it all!

    (There is a small percentage-based convenience fee for this service.)
  • Mail
    Do it the old fashioned way for just the cost of a stamp! Slip your payment in the envelope provided and send to:

  • Outdoor Drop Box
    Want to drop off a payment 24/7 from the convenience of your car? Use our drop box in the Town Square ​parking lot at the corner of S. Fayetteville St. and E. 2nd St. Use the box for check and money orders, but NOT cash. You'll find the drop box in the parking lot, it's super shiny so it's hard to miss! (Payments through an automated phone system are not available.​)
  • Payment Extension
    Customers may request a payment extension 2 times per calendar year. Click here for more info or to request an extension. BANK DRAFT CUSTOMERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR EXTENSIONS.
