Welcome the Town of Clayton, North Carolina

No Parking

How to Pay?

Parking tickets can be paid at Town Hall, located at 111 E. Second Street, Clayton, NC.  Please visit Customer Service (where utility bills are paid) Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.   You can mail in your ticket payment using the instructions on the back of the ticket.

A first notice of violation will be subject to a $25.00 penalty and second and subsequent notices of violations will be $75.00. Additional penalties will apply if the fines are not paid on time.

Parking Enforcement

The Clayton Police Department enforces parking rules within the town limits, with the most common violations being parking on the sidewalk and within 20 feet of an intersection.

Violators are assessed a civil penalty, which means the Town can seek civil judgments in court against offenders who do not pay the fine.
