It has been a challenging year, but we still can't believe it is almost over!  January brings new hope and new goals. We are looking forward to hosting some Zoom classes and hope you continue to take advantage of our greenways, trails and parks.  

Zoom Fitness Classes 
Just in time for your New Year's Resolution, our popular group fitness classes are moving to Zoom!  Classes are scheduled for live instruction via Zoom at the time listed, however a recording will be sent out after class to all registered participants. Couponing can be intimidating, but if you want to learn how to save money on your household needs by using coupons, then you are in the right place! Sign up for our free email club to learn secrets and strategies to save big and equip you with the tools you need to shop specific stores in our area. This club is appropriate for newbies and veterans.

Clayton Youth Council 
The Clayton Youth Council (CYC) is a volunteer organization made up of fun and fascinating teens from a variety of high schools in Johnston County. The Council serves as an opportunity for teenagers to share in civic engagements, leadership opportunities, community service, recreational outings, fundraising events, and participate in special events such as State Youth Council Conferences. If you are a teenager looking for an opportunity to develop your leadership skills, meet new friends, need volunteer hours at school, or just want to make a valuable difference in your community then join CYC. Meetings take place on the first Monday of every month during the school year. All meetings will take place virtually at 7:00 p.m.. Members are welcome to join at any time by registering online.

Virtual Safe Sitter Essentials
Ages 11-14. Do you feel ready to stay home alone, watch your brothers and sisters while your parents are gone, or babysit for younger children? Then maybe it's time for Safe Sitter®. Safe Sitter® prepares students to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. Students learn life-saving skills, such as how to rescue someone who's choking, and other helpful information like what to do if there's severe weather.

puzzle palooza

Virtual Puzzle Palooza

Ages 5 & up. Puzzlers, come help us celebrate National Puzzle Month! Gather your team of 2-4 people to show off your skills at Puzzle Palooza jigsaw puzzle challenge on Zoom. Teams will race against each other to complete a 400 piece jigsaw puzzle in the shortest amount of time. Puzzle is provided and yours to keep. Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place finishers.

Coffee and Conversations  A Social for Seniors
Ages 50 & Better. Feeling isolated and out of contact due to COVID-19? Join us for a free on-line Zoom round-table discussion for an hour. Topics will depend on the interest of the group, but might include travel experiences, favorite films, or a grab-bag of topics from a "conversation box". Advance registration is required.
