Town of Clayton Water Tower at Sunset
Welcome the Town of Clayton, North Carolina

Watch this video and you'll see we had THE greatest time in 2018!  So let's do it again on Thursday, July 4th, 2019!   We're bringing back Big Love, our free family games, our free watermelon, our free ice cream, AND our free fireworks! They're only the best fireworks in the area!   #clayton4th ClaytonNC.org/July4

Mark your Calendar for Thursday, July 4, 2019 for Clayton Parks & Recreation's
39th Annual Independence Day Celebration!

The fun starts Thursday, July 4, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Municipal Park (325 McCullers Drive) with free family events on the field, watermelon and ice cream giveaways, a hose down by the Clayton Fire Department and a live free music concert with Big Love, a six-piece dance band based out of Raleigh. They play a variety of great music that gets people moving, from the classics to current hits and including jazz, disco, pop, funk, R&B, and beach.

There will be HANDICAP parking at Municipal Park - please come down Stallings street and speak to a police officer directing traffic. The officer will allow you through to the handicap parking on site. Street parking is available throughout downtown along all residential streets and public parking lots, we just ask that you do not block driveways.

Huge thank you to our Patriot Sponsor: Huebner Family McDonald's!

Thank you to our Blue Level Sponsor:  HomeTowne Realty

Enjoy food vendors, a cornhole tournament, a 9 Square Game, inflatables and fair rides, bingo and raffles throughout the day and night! Vendors include: Sam's Flying Scoops, Carolina's Catch, Fat Boys BBQ , CJ's Funnel Cakes, Sweet Southern Snowballs, Dr Spuds,  Pop N' Tyme and more! Coolers are welcome but please leave the alcohol at home.

Ragland Productions asks for $1 per ticket, with each inflatable varying in number of tickets required.

Raffle tickets will be on sale at the main tent all night for various prizes from local businesses.

The fireworks shoot off at dark! That's usually shortly after 9 p.m. so be in place by then so you don't miss the show! There are bleachers set up around the park in ideal locations for fireworks viewing, but you can also bring blankets and chairs to find a spot on the infield to enjoy the spectacular pyrotechnics.

PLEASE NOTE: Views of the fireworks from locations like Town Square and Horne Square on Main Street (where you may have watched from in the past) will be obscured. So if you want to see ALL the fireworks - more shells than we've had in most years past - you've got to be at Municipal Park on July 4!!

Check out the map of the activities below, a map for handicap parking and event access and the map for exiting after the event.
