Clayton Parks & Recreation Department Facilities Update

The Clayton Community located at 715 Amelia Church Road, is OPEN to the public. Staff will be cleaning and sanitizing the building periodically throughout the day.

Clayton Community Center



  • 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.


  • 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.


Our new game room, which is home to two pool tables, foosball, and more is also open to all community center members! Hours may vary.


  • Shelter and gym rentals are available. Call 919-553-1550 for availability.
  • Greenways, trails, athletic fields, shelters, playgrounds and restrooms.
  • Staff are routinely cleaning restrooms and playgrounds per CDC and NCDHHS guidance.
  • Follow ClaytonNCParks on social media for recreation events and updates.  

While staff is cleaning, it's important for everyone to continue to exercise individual responsibility to help prevent the spread. For the most up-to-date COVID-19 information, please check the NC Department of Health and Human Services website.
