Art 
Watercolor, Acrylics, Drawing, Cartooning, Oil Painting, Sketchbooks- Our Art Studio offers classes for everyone- check our current listings and sign up for a class today!

Pottery
Whether you want to try out wheel throwing, hand building or precious metal clay there is something for everyone in the pottery studio. Advanced classes and Open Pottery Studio Memberships are also available- Call 919-553-1550 for more information. 

Gardening
Did you know that the Clayton Community Center is home to a Community Garden. The Garden is run through a partnership with the Johnston County Extension Services Master Gardeners and provides a learning opportunity for anyone wanting to try their hand at home gardening. Classes teach everything from Soil preparation to fertilizing, composting and harvesting. All produce grown in the garden is donated to local food banks. Classes are taught on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:30pm. 

Senior Day Trips
Interested in joining the Parks and Recreation Department on a day trip? Email Amy Shearin at ashearin@townofclaytonnc.org to be placed on the Trip list to get up to date information on upcoming adventures. 

Senior Citizen Bingo
The Parks and Recreation Department hosts Bingo each month that is free and open to the public. Join us at 10 a.m. on the third Friday of each month at the Clayton Senior Activity Center, 303 Dairy Road.
