The Town of Clayton is always looking to work with great people!  Consistent with the Town of Clayton Purchasing Policy and NC General Statutes 143-129, we often seek bids (formal or informal), proposals, or statements of qualification for pending projects and purchases. Here you'll find some of the major Town projects we're exploring, working on, or have already recently completed.  Check out the list and if you're a qualified company, send us your proposal...we look forward to working with you!


NEW UPSET BID PERIOD - 220 East Main Street Building in Downtown Clayton - An upset bid of $52,600 has been submitted to purchase 220 E. Main Street, which includes the first and second floor of the east side of this downtown building, circa 1913. The next minimum upset bid amount would be $55,280. The bid process continues to be open to the public. Persons wishing to place a higher bid shall submit an upset bid to the office of the Town Clerk, located at 111 East Second Street during regular business hours on or before 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2019. For additional information, please contact Economic Development Director David DeYoung at 919-259-9347.
