Welcome the Town of Clayton, North Carolina

Jordan Parah

Greenville, NC

Jordan Parah is a young sculptor who is excited to be exhibiting in the 3rd Annual Downtown Sculpture Trail.  This talented artist has TWO of her recently-finished colorful works on display in Clayton.

As a metal fabricator she connects contrasting forms, shapes and colors, relating to the idea that all people are different, yet all are equal.

"Sunrise, Sunset" is located in Town Square at the corner of S. Fayetteville and Main Streets.  This painted steel 200 lb. sculpture stands 8-ft tall and 5-ft wide looms brightly with varying shades of orange, red and yellow.  Parah fabricated this commanding work using aluminum, steel and stainless steel in combination to create balance and harmony out of diversity.

Jordan Parah's second sculpture, "Up, Up & Away" can be found at the Clayton Community Center.

Parah is a Greensboro native and graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture and minor in Art History.  She continues to create metal fabricated sculpture in her studio in Greenville while working part-time at City Art Gallery in Greenville and at the Greenville Museum of Art.  Parah was a student of ECU Professor Hanna Jubran, a 3-time Downtown Sculpture Trail participant!
