The movies start when the sun goes down, but the fun starts at 6 p.m. with face painting, a bouncy house, games and more. Refreshments, food trucks and other vendors are available before and during the movie. 










Friday, July 12 - Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz turns 80 this year! The Downtown Development Association will show this family classic to coincide with the Carolina Youth Theatre’s production of the Wizard of Oz at The Clayton Center. The cast will be performing a special sneak peek for you at 8 p.m. so don't miss your chance to catch these talented youth! Enjoy the movie then go and catch the musical July 26 & 27 and August 1, 2 & 3! 

Friday, August 23 - Bumblebee  

Enjoy the futuristic Transformer movie: Bumblebee - the story of a good-natured, yellow Autobot who communicates through songs on the radio. Rated PG-13 for some sci-fi action violence. Bring your Transformer figures! 

Friday, September 20 – Grease

We go back to the 50’s with the free movie Grease! Feel free to slick your hair back and put on your poodle skirt! We'd love to see you sing and dance along to this classic!

Friday,October 18 - Coco

"Coco" is the sprightly story of a young boy who wants to be a musician and somehow finds himself communing with talking skeletons in the land of the dead. Halloween is just around the corner so don't hesitate to break out your Halloween costume early!
