Lights, Camera, Action! Bring your own blankets, drinks, and food and enjoy a FREE movie under the stars at Clayton Town Square, located at 110 West Main Street in the heart of Downtown Clayton.

No movie tickets are needed here!

The movies start when the sun goes down, but the fun starts at 6 pm with face painting, a bouncy house, games, and more. Refreshments, food trucks, and other vendors are available before and during the movie.

Friday, July 12 - Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz turns 80 this year! The Downtown Development Association will show this family classic to coincide with the Carolina Youth Theatre's production of the Wizard of Oz at The Clayton Center. The cast will be performing a special sneak peek for you at 8 pm so don't miss your chance to catch these talented youth! Enjoy the movie then go and catch the musical July 26 and 27 and August 1, 2, and 3!

Friday, August 23 - Bumblebee

Enjoy the futuristic Transformer movie: Bumblebee - the story of a good-natured, yellow Autobot who communicates through songs on the radio. Rated PG-13 for some sci-fi action violence. Bring your Transformer figures! We'll have face-painting, balloon animals, a bouncy house, and games for the whole family. Enjoy Sweet Southern Snoballs, Veneros Pizzeria, Poblanos, 3 Stars Kettle Korn, and Nikki's Snacks!

Friday, September 20 - Grease

We go back to the '50s with the free movie Grease! Feel free to slick your hair back and put on your poodle skirt! We'd love to see you sing and dance along to this classic!

"Coco" is the sprightly story of a young boy who wants to be a musician and somehow finds himself communing with talking skeletons in the land of the dead. Halloween is just around the corner so don't hesitate to break out your Halloween costume early!
