Youth Winter Basketball Registration Underway

Registration for Youth Winter Basketball is underway, with leagues in four age groups for boys, three age groups for girls and a coed league for children seven to eight years old.

The cost is $25 for residents and $60 for those who live outside town.

Registration forms are available through Sept. 18 at the Parks & Recreation office at the new Clayton Community Center, town hall, the Hocutt-Ellington Memorial Library downtown or can be downloaded by clicking here. A registration form is also available by visiting townofclaytonnc.org --- just click on “For Resident,” click on “Parks & Recreation,” click on the registration form link, and then print the form.

All youngsters who register before Sept. 18 will be placed on a team. Those who register after Sept. 18 will be placed on a waiting list and added to a team if a space becomes available.

All youngsters must produce a birth certificate and proof of medical insurance. The Town offers limited insurance protection for $6 per child.

Completed registration forms can be dropped off at the Parks & Recreation Department office, placed in the town hall utility payment box on the Horne Street side of the building or mailed to Parks & Recreation Department, PO Box 879, Clayton NC 27528.
