Start the New Year Right--With Yoga
The Parks and Recreation Department is offering ten-week, ninety-minute Yoga sessions at The Clayton Center, room 300.
Beginning Yoga---held Tuesdays 7:15-8:45 pm with Susan Myers or Thursdays 6:15-7:45 pm with Bob Maiers---is designed for those new to yoga. Learn beginning yoga poses, gentle relaxation techniques and home practice routines.
Yoga Foundations is held on Mondays at 10-11:30 am or 7:15-8:45 pm or Wednesdays at 5:30-7 p.m. with Catharine Eberhart. Foundations is designed to continue developing the fundamentals of yoga in a gentle class as you increase your strength and flexibility, practice breathing techniques to ease stress and calm your mind.
On-going Multi-Level class, held on Wednesdays at 7:15-8:45 pm with Eberhart, is designed to deepen your practice and understanding of the many facets of yoga. It is physically more demanding than Foundations and open to experienced students or by instructor's permission.
Participants should wear comfortable athletic type clothing. Mats and props are provided.
