Voluneers Needed to Serve on Town Boards

Town officials have put out a call to residents for volunteers to fill important positions on several town boards.

Those interested are encouraged to download an application form by clicking on the link below, fill it out and return it to Town Clerk Sherry Scoggins by Sept. 18.

"Serving on a town board or committee is an excellent way to get involved with the community and make a difference," said Town Manager Steve Biggs. "Additionally, the Town of Clayton depends on input from residents to keep the various aspects of town government operating smoothly."

Here is a list of Town Boards:
• Planning and Zoning Board
• Board of Adjustment
• Clayton Recreation Advisory Committee
• Clayton Library Board
• Downtown Development Association (DDA)
