Upgrades Progressing on Four Town Streets

Work on a $640,000 upgrade to sections of four town streets is speeding toward a spring completion date.

It's the last regularly scheduled street work before next year's planned large-scale upgrade of streets, which will be financed through a recent bond issue for streets and parks.

Streets getting the work are Second, Barbour, Church and Kennel. Those were selected for upgrades now due to their traffic volume and condition.
