Smart Spending Workshop Here Saturday
Are you spending too much at the grocery store these days?
If so, the Parks & Recreation Department says they can show you how to cut your grocery bill in half using the "Smart Spending System." The system will be detailed in a workshop at the Clayton Center Satuday from 10 am to 1:30 pm.
The cost is $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Workshop leaders say most shoppers save the cost of the workshop and more the very first time they visit the grocery store using the new system.
The workshop, which is a fundraiser for the Duke Ovarian Cancer Research Program at Duke University Medical Center, includes a resource directory, along with other materials and a light snack.
