New Housing Development in the Works

The Clayton Town Council is considering approval of a residential development of 104 single-family homes and 46 townhomes on North O'Neil Street.

The new housing development, by the Johnston Land Group, would be built on a 75.6-acre tract on North O'Neil Street between Sam's Branch Creek and the Neuse River. Plans call for 7.13 acres of open space, a greenway and a park.
