Youth Soccer Registration June 14-28

Youth Soccer registration, for youngsters ages 4-7 (as of 7/31/10), is scheduled for June 14-28.

Forms are available at the Parks & Recreation Department office at the new Clayton Community Center, The Clayton Center and Hocutt-Ellington Library.

The cost is $25 each for residents and $60 each for non-residents. Completed forms with payment can be delivered to the Department office, dropped into the Clayton Center utility payment box or mailed by June 28 to PO Box 879, Clayton NC 27528. All leagues are coed and grouped by age.

Practices, usually on weekday evenings and Saturdays, will begin in August and games will be played in September and October.

All leagues are coed and grouped by age. Four-year-olds will play with five-year-olds and six-year-olds will play with seven-year-olds.

Brothers and sisters in the same age group, living in the same household, will be placed on the same team. However, requests for individuals to be placed together will not be honored due to the difficulty involved.

Participants will need a birth certificate and medical insurance.
