Volunteers Honored by Clayton Town Council

The Clayton Town Council, after proclaiming April "Volunteer Appreciation Month," presented certificates of appreciation this week to some of the dozens of local volunteers who help run town government through their participation on boards and committees.

Mayor Jody McLeod said the town's volunteers "make local government work and make Clayton a much better place." The Town of Clayton depends on volunteer assistance more now than ever and has immediate need for additional help with the front desk at The Clayton Center. Interested persons should contact volunteer coordinator Stephanie Lanzolla to express interest and seek an application.
