SPCA Yard Sale Fundraiser Downtown Saturday

The SPCA of Johnston County will hold its annual yard sale fundraiser here Saturday, Nov. 13 from 8 am to 2 pm on the vacant lot on Lombard Street near the Coffee Mill.

Hundreds of items, including furniture, kitchen utensils, clothing, holiday decorations and much more, will be available at very low prices.

"It's a win-win for both the animals and for folks who are looking to get some bargains," said Councilman Alex Harding, one of the event's volunteers. "We invite everyone in Clayton to come out and support the SPCA and the work they do. It's a great way to help out the shelter and, at the same time, pick up something that you need at a great price."

SPCA volunteers have been collecting the yard sale items over the last year.
