Boy Scouts Learn About Town Government

Boy Scout Troop 24 met with members of the Town Council recently to learn more about how town government operates.

Councilmen Michael Grannis, Art Holder and R.S. "Butch" Lawter discussed duties, responsibilities and leadership, among other topics, as part of the Troop's work toward their "Citizenship in the Community" merit badges.

Scouts Bobby Beare, William Ball, Christian Green and Austin Vojtko also led the Pledge of Allegiance that opens every Council session.

Troop 24 is chartered through the Clayton Civitans.
