"QuickStart Tennis" for the Very Young

The Parks & Recreation Department has scheduled tennis classes for children in April, using new techniques and equipment designed for teaching the very young.

"QuickStart Tennis" offers a new play format for learning the game and utilizes specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring—all tailored to age and size.

Children ages 5 to 7 will receive instruction on Tuesdays from 6 pm to 6:45 pm at Community Park. Children ages 8 through 10 will learn from 7 pm to 7:45 pm.

The fee is $45 for residents and $55 for non-residents.
