Officer Kevin Pruden Promoted to Sergeant

Longtime Policeman Kevin Pruden has been promoted to Sergeant in the Patrol Division's "A" Squad.

The 14-year officer, who served with police departments in Elizabeth City and Smithfield before coming here, holds an Intermediate Police Certification from the NC Criminal Justice Training and Standards Commission, in addition to other specialty certifications.

He's currently studying Criminal Justice at Johnston Community College.
