Pounds Back on the Police Force after 18 Years

Clayton native Brian Pounds returned to the Clayton Police Department this week after years with the NC DMV Enforcement Division and in the private sector.

Pounds, who left the force in 1993, has been assigned to "C" Squad of the Patrol Division.

Despite leaving the police force years ago, Pounds has continued to be an active member of the Fire Department, where he has served for the last 24 years. He recently earned his Basic Law Enforcement Training certification from Johnston Community Community College.
