2011 Poster Contest Offers $1,000 Prize

Clayton Visual Arts is offering a $1,000 cash prize to the winner of their 2011 "THINK CLAYTON, THINK ART" Poster Contest.

All entries must be full-color original artwork. The entry deadline is Wednesday, May 25.

"As you possibly can guess, we hope each entry will suggest Clayton," said Clayton Visual Arts Secretary June Lioret. "Posters may be done in any full-color medium. Judges will be from Clayton town government and Clayton Visual Arts."

The cost is $25 per entry, with a 3-entry maximum.

All entries will be on display during June at the Clayton Center. A free "meet-the-artist" reception for all who enter is scheduled June 9 from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Center. Everyone is invited.
