Town of Clayton Operating at Full Strength

For the first time in a long time, the Town of Clayton is operating at full strength.

The Public Works Department just hired a new Instrumentation Control Technician, filling the last job vacancy on the books.

"We have no full-time positions available," said Human Resources Director Catherine Whitley. "That's exciting for us. As long as I've been here, I don't remember this happening but maybe a couple of times."

Usually, she said, there's a position or two that proves hard to fill, but even those have been matched up with qualified employees.
