Millstock Music Festival to be Replaced

The Millstock Music & Art Faire Committee has decided to discontinue the Millstock Music & Art Faire, one of the town's most popular summer events.

They intend to replace it with a new event, though no details have been released.

"We don't know yet what shape this will take," said Downtown Development Coordinator Bruce Naegelen.

The three-year-old committee, comprised of board members from Clayton Visual Arts (CVA) and the Clayton Downtown Development Association (CDDA), blamed "limitations with the structure and identity" of the ten year old event, which began as a promotion for the Coffee Mill.

In addition, the CVA and the CDDA are each exploring a series of new music and art events, separately and together, to take advantage of the new Downtown Plaza at Lombard & Main streets.
