Jobs Available at New ABC Distribution Center

LB&B Associates, the company that handles product distribution for the state's ABC stores, has scheduled a job fair July 12 and 13 in search of employees for the new ABC Distribution Center opening up on Shotwell Road.

The event will be held from 9 am to 1 pm Tuesday, July 12 and from 3-7 pm on Wednesday, July 13 at The Clayton Center.

The company is looking for security guards, material handlers, truck drivers and computer operators.

"We have multiples available in each of those categories," said Customer Service Representative Kendall Burke. "The Project Manager and Warehouse Manager will be on site."

She said the company intends to move quickly to hire the workers it needs at the new Distribution Center, which is slated to open in the next few days. Employees from the main warehouse in Raleigh will be on the job here until the new hires can take over.

All job candidates must have a clean driving record and a high school diploma or GED. They must also pass a drug/alcohol screening and a background check.
