Standing Room Only for Jeanne Robertson

Reserved seating for the Saturday, November 19 Jeanne Robertson appearance at The Clayton Center has SOLD OUT, and a limited number of Standing Room Only tickets are available for the 8 p.m. performance.

Known for her family-friendly and engaging brand of comedy, Jeanne Robertson is so good at telling stories that she’s made a highly successful career of it. Robertson credits her participation in, and perhaps even her losing of the Miss America title with turning her life into a succession of events that led her to become one of the funniest, busiest and most popular professional speakers in America today.

As Miss North Carolina (1963), Robertson traveled for a year speaking at pageants and addressing civic clubs and corporations. When that time was over, she found that people were willing to pay her to come and address their groups and conventions and loving every laughing minute of it. They wanted Robertson—not just a beauty queen—and they wanted her because she made them laugh.

Today, Robertson is a highly-sought-after motivational speaker who has received every top honor in her profession. The Graham, N.C. native, has entertained audiences from the White House to Las Vegas, produced six DVD/CD humor programs in the last 11 years, and can be heard daily on Sirius XM Radio’s Laugh USA family comedy channels.

In her engaging, family-friendly show—Comedy With Class—Robertson regales her audience with humorous stories of everyday life, including routines such as “Don’t Send A Man to the Grocery Store,” Don’t Bungee Jump Naked” and “Mothers vs. Teenage Daughters,”—all told in her sweet, signature, Southern style.
