Halloween Parade Coming Up for Town's Youth

The sight of an unusual number of pumpkins around town can mean only one thing---Halloween is almost here, and the Parks & Recreation Department is planning a fun event for the town's youth.

The annual youth Halloween Parade through town is planned for Monday, Oct. 31. Trick-or-treaters in costume will descend on downtown, seeking treats from participating merchants, in an annual ritual that has been quite a spectacle in previous years. It will begin at Horne Square at 2:30 pm and end about 4 pm on the Town Square, which will be set up for games, activities and treats.
