Governmental Communications Upgrade Oct. 8

The Town of Clayton governmental communications system--including telephones and internet--will be down Saturday, October 8, from 8 am to 2 pm for a system upgrade.

That means the town's website and online services will be unavailable during that time.

During this time the call-in numbers for after hours utilities issues will not be operational, so town officials have set up a temporary after-hours, on-call number --934-9411-- that will be active while the regular number is down. The 911 system will operate as normal and should be used for police, fire, and ems contact.

The town's Facebook page --Town of Clayton, NC-- will be active during the upgrade period on Saturday. The temporary after-hours, on-call number will be listed there along with any other appropriate information.
