Childcare Available at Community Center
The Parks & Recreation Department is ready to begin offering inexpensive childcare services for residents taking classes or using the facilities at the new Clayton Community Center.
The new service, which costs $2 for residents and $5 for non-residents, will be available in both the morning and evening hours.
"We know that there are several people out there who aren't taking classes or using the facilities here because they can't get child care," said Recreation Program Director Matt Lorion. "Several people have told us that they would be here taking classes if they had a place for their children."
He said Department officials expect the new service to boost use of the Center, while offering many young families an opportunity to enrich their daily lives.
Please give Lorion a call at 919-553-1554 for more information or to make arrangements for childcare.
