Youth Theater Offers Youngsters "Backstage Pass"
Think your youngster might be a good candidate for the Clayton Youth Theater? Now might be a good time to find out.
The Theater has scheduled a two-hour program called "Backstage Pass: Fiddler on the Roof" for rising first through sixth graders July 28 that will give them an opportunity to learn what youth theater is all about.
Participants will meet the cast of the Youth Theater's upcoming production of Fiddler on the Roof and join them in a short Theater Workshop, get a backstage tour and a ticket to the show. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 28 from 10 am until noon at The Clayton Center. The cost is $20 per participant and registration is limited.
A registration form and program brochure are available on the Theater's web site at claytonyouththeater.com
During the Theater Workshop, youngsters will get a brief history of the upcoming musical, go through a rehearsal of the production's opening number and learn from both staff and the cast.
The Youth Theater production of Fiddler on the Roof is coming up Aug. 6 and 7 at The Clayton Center.
