Two New Art Classes for Adults This Fall
The Parks & Recreation Department has added two new art classes for adults to its impressive schedule of classes for late summer and fall.
Adult Pencil Drawing & More is a six-week class beginning Sept. 13 that explores pencils, watercolor pencils, Conte crayons and pastels as art mediums.
Dabbling: An Art Exploration for Adults is a six-week class that features a different way of creating art each class.
Here's a more detailed description of the new classes:
ADULT PENCIL DRAWING & MORE
This six week class is for those with some basic drawing abilities, discover pencils used for finished artwork and explore watercolor pencils, markers and Conte crayons and pastels as mediums for your still life and “from a photo” masterpieces. Great fun and exploration! Supply list will be given at first class. Instructor: Lynda Wilson; Fee: $40/resident/six week session and $55/non-resident/six week session; Date/Time: Monday 1:00-2:30pm beginning September 13.
DABBLING: AN ART EXPLORATION FOR ADULTS

By the end of the class you will have tried five different ways of creating art and hopefully discovered a passion.
