Now Off the Street Thanks to Clayton Police

A Clayton man was arrested after police found more than 10 pounds of marijuana in his car. Clayton Police had been working together with Raleigh Police on an investigation into 33-year-old Howard Anthony Daley. On Thursday afternoon, Clayton police stopped his vehicle on Hwy 70 Business near Fayetteville Street and found the drugs. Daley, who lives at 521 S. Lombard Street, was alone in the car. He’s charged with 4 felony drug offenses:
- Trafficking Marijuana by Possession
- Trafficking Marijuana by Transportation
- Maintaining a vehicle for the purpose of Trafficking Marijuana
- Possession of Marijuana within 1000 feet of a school.
Daley was place in the Johnston County Jail on a $130,000 secured bond.
