Clayton Visual Arts, which arranges beautiful art exhibits each month at the Clayton Center, is asking area artists to join in its 2011 season of exhibitions.

Art on display will hang for a scheduled one month period in the Center Lobby at 111 E. Second Street in Clayton.

Artists interested in being a part of an exhibition are asked to submit a resume, a $10 application fee and a portfolio of work in the form of jpg format images, CD or web page reference to: Clayton Visual Arts, PO Box 698, Clayton, NC 27528 or by email to: ddemboski@nc.rr.com

The deadline is Sept. 15.

Artists Robert L. Daniels of Raleigh and Adelaide Page of Holt Lake are showing their work at The Clayton Center during June.

The Clayton Center is the central public building in Clayton and houses the Town Council Chambers, utility offices, city offices, meeting rooms and an active performance center. It receives hundreds of visitors each day.
