Clayton Police Force Adds Two New Officers

The Clayton Police Department has added two new police officers who you'll probably be seeing around town---Catherine Daniel of Wilson and Michael Keen of Clayton.

Daniel, who has attended Peace College in Raleigh, has been around law enforcement all her life as the granddaughter of a Wilson police captain. She completed her Basic Law Enforcement Training at Coastal Plains Law Enforcement Academy. She is certified in CPR.

Keen, originally from Pennsylvania, previously served 10 years on the nearby Raleigh police force. He has DWI Detection Certification and Advanced Gang Certification, as well as other law enforcement credentials.

The Clayton Police Department has been recommended for full accreditation, the only law enforcement agency in Johnston County to earn the high honor. For more information, please click on the link below.
