Cable Company Adds More New Channels

Time Warner Cable's digital cable customers in Clayton are getting two new channels this month---the Major League Baseball Network and the Chiller Network.

The MLB Network, which launched earlier this month, is on channel 139. Chiller, a network featuring horror/thriller movies and television shows, will launch Jan. 18 on channel 127.

In addition, the company plans to add four more high definition channels to its digital service this month---Cinemax East HD and West HD, Starz HD and TMC HD---giving customers a total of 50 HD channels in all.

Last month, the cable company removed the EWTN/Inspirational Network from its basic service and replace it with Bravo on channel 72. EWTN is still available on channel 194 and the Inspirational Network on 195 of the company's digital service.
