Commercial Development Coming to Hwy 42

The Lundy Group is seeking permission to build a 50.6-acre commercial development on NC Highway 42 near the site of the new Johnston Medical Center - Clayton, which is expected to open later this year.

The project, which has already gotten the approval of the town Planning Board, will include shops, restaurants, a bank, a motel and an office building.
