Scouts Get Time With Mayor Jody McLeod

A group of local Cub Scouts got to see and hear more than just the normal agenda items recently when visiting a Town Council meeting.

Mayor Jody McLeod sat with them for a few minutes before the meeting, talking about town government and answering questions.

"They're working on a "Citizenship Badge," so this is really good," said Den Leader Tom Keefer.

Joining the Mayor were Scouts Andrew Shafer, Demarest Barnes, Spencer Keefer, Andy Catron, Austin Vojtko and Jack Wiedeman of Webelos Den 1 from Pack 24. The group is sponsored by the Clayton Civitans.
