FIT & FUN

This will be a low stress fun exercise experience. This class will be geared toward the person who would like to try an exercise class, but doesn’t want the stress of routines. This will be a fun experience for anyone who would like to lose those few extra pounds. Students should wear sweats, shorts and tee shirt and bring a towel and bottle of water. Register at the Parks & Recreation office.
TAE KWON DO
- Tuesdays & Thursdays

Students are requested to wear sweatpants. Uniforms are available for purchase but not necessary. This class is a year-round class and new students can register ten minutes before class.
TAI CHI CHAUN

Learn the ancient Ba Shi Ba, Tai Chi Chaun, and Chi Kung exercises of health and longevity. New participants can register ten minutes before class.

If you've ever wanted to try your hand at watercolor painting this is your chance. From different kinds of brushes to basic techniques this class will help students learn to enjoy this fun, fluid medium. Paper and some basic supplies are provided, but students will need to purchase a couple of brushes and a basic paint set ($30) to get started. From there, supplies are based on individual interests. From washes to detail, come and learn techniques to help you enjoy painting with watercolors
ADULT BASIC DRAWING

CALLIGRAPHY

Master the art of distinctive hand lettering. Projects will include Old English, Italic, Script, and Uncial. Express yourself making invitations, greeting cards, announcements, and award certificates, etc. Bring your own writing instruments. Register at the Parks & Recreation office.
ACRYLICS

How many times have you said "I can do that!"? This class is designed to help you do it while learning and practicing the basics of acrylic painting. Special emphasis will be on taking ideas and translating them into workable projects, choosing the best supplies, and completing projects that you can point to with pride and say "I did it myself!" This is a fun class designed to familiarize folks with painting. No experience necessary. Register at the Parks & Recreation office.
AFTER SCHOOL ART

Matisse, Rodin, Picasso, Da Vinci, and many others will be our guides as we do an overview of different media with a "master or two" as our jumping off point. We will paint, cut, sculpt, draw and print. This hour and a half class is designed for elementary school children. Class size is limited to ten students. Register at the Parks & Recreation office.
JEWELRY SILVERSMITHING

Learn jewelry fabrication using a torch. Projects will include basic design, soldering, sawing, filing, drilling, stone setting, forms and polishing. Also an introduction to copper enameling. Tools provided. Supplies fees are paid to the instuctor. Register at the Parks & Recreation office.
