GIS Master Plan

One goal in the Town's Strategic Plan is to Manage Growth Producing Quality Development. One of the major projects listed in the plan to achieve this goal was the development and implementation of a GIS Strategic Plan. This plan will be a living document that will be revised annually to ensure that the Town of Clayton uses its own information resources effectively with geo-spatial information to improve business processes, infrastructure, services, and decision-making.

Geographic Technologies Group from Goldsboro, NC was chosen to generate this document based on questionnaires and interviews with Town staff. This document will be presented to the Town Council soon, and when accepted will be available for viewing on this site.
